Stephan Schurmann, Founder, Chairman & Trustee

Mr. Schurmann is the Company’s founder. He began developing the concept for Equity’s Lease-to-Own and Property Cash Back Program in 2003. Prior to his activities in creating Equity Business Trust, Mr. Schurmann has been a licensed company formation specialist, specializing in corporate establishments for clients worldwide.

His expertise includes but is not limited too:

• 17 years of successful specialization, conception and establishment of innovative and tax friendly company structures worldwide (incl. offshore banks, captive insurance companies, trusts & nonprofit entities)
• extensive knowledge in private placements, bond offerings incl. “reverse merger” going public procedures under US-Law
• development of business plans, marketing plans, profit & cash flow projections, stock & bond offering memoranda, shareholder agreements & international trademark registrations
• real estate investment manager and financial advisor for major German investment group

Mr. Schurmann’s responsibilities have been:

• To maintain client trust accounts, to create trust instruments under which real estate and business assets are held, managed, controlled, invested, reinvested or operated, or any combination of these
• To manage business or professional activities for profit, by the trustees for the benefit of the persons entitled to a beneficial interest in the trust property and/or business
• To report to the chairman of the board of German real estate investment group
• Strategic planning and investment recommendations – utilization and creation of financial models for investment valuation
• Source and research new real estate investment opportunities – economical analysis, feasibility studies, project cost estimating and property acquisition feasibility investigations
• Oversee real estate projects and all facets of construction management – detailed knowledge of investment management operations and practices
• Manage the day to day operation of the company and subcontractors, physical planning, construction processes, contract administration, quality assurance and budgeting
• Liaise with architects, investors, developers, government land departments
